Mixed Tax Semi Senior

The Mixed Tax Semi Senior will join the tax team of the practice and your role will be focused on tax compliance with a range of challenging work available. You will be responsible for both preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and businesses of varying sizes.

 

Knowledge of self-assessment tax returns, CGT and business tax is a requirement for the role. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are also essential for this position.

Your role will be varied and will include.

  • Preparation of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients which may including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliary, partnerships, non-residents and trusts
  • Preparation of forms P11D.
  • Preparation, review & submission of corporation tax returns including Research and Development claims.
  • Preparation of simple Sole Trader & Partnership Accounts & Rental Income Statements.
  • Employee share schemes compliance
  • Advising individuals and companies of their tax liabilities.
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Assisting on tax advisory projects
  • Carrying out research on different areas to assist Directors/Partners.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities within individual and corporate client portfolios.

Mixed Tax Semi Senior Position Requirements

  • Fully ATT qualified (CTA considered)
  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance personnel
  • Previous mixed tax experience
